Aloft and Conan Exiles Enhanced are heading to PS5 in early 2027
One game lets players turn floating islands into flying homes. The other brings brutal survival, fortresses and hostile lands to modern consoles. Aloft and Conan Exiles Enhanced are both scheduled for early 2027, with free upgrades confirmed for existing Conan Exiles owners.
Funcom has two very different survival games lined up for PlayStation 5. Aloft invites players to build a home among the clouds, while Conan Exiles Enhanced offers a considerably harsher alternative where defending a fortress may be just as important as constructing it.
Both releases were announced on October 27 and are scheduled for early 2027. Neither has a specific launch date yet.
Aloft brings its complete adventure to PlayStation
Astrolabe Interactive's Aloft is built around a distinctive survival concept. Floating islands are not simply destinations: players can transform them into mobile skyships, turning an established base into a travelling home.
Gathering resources, crafting equipment, farming and caring for animals are part of the experience. Exploration expands through gliding, sailing and discovering new islands, either alone or with friends.
The sky is not always peaceful. Hurricanes threaten exploration, ancient ruins conceal mysteries and fungal corruption must be cleared to restore damaged ecosystems.

The PlayStation 5 edition will launch alongside the game's full 1.0 release on PC. It includes the content developed throughout Early Access, which has already received five major updates covering wildlife, puzzles, combat improvements, glider customisation and expanded exploration.
That means console players will begin with the planned complete experience rather than the earlier development build.
Conan Exiles receives a substantial overhaul
Conan Exiles Enhanced is also coming to PS5, as well as Xbox Series X|S. Funcom promises improved environments, characters, lighting and effects, together with a redesigned user interface and performance enhancements.
The updated game also brings the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah into a more seamless experience. Isle of Siptah remains a separately purchased expansion, however.
Console players will receive the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc as part of the Enhanced launch, adding further narrative content and challenges.

Existing Conan Exiles owners on PS4 and Xbox One are eligible for a free upgrade to the corresponding current-generation version. Purchased DLC and other eligible content will carry over.
Full cross-play is planned for a later point after launch, rather than being confirmed as a day-one feature.
The release window remains broad
Funcom currently lists early 2027 for both games. Aloft will reach PS5 alongside its PC 1.0 launch, while Conan Exiles Enhanced will expand beyond its existing PC release.
Exact dates and additional launch details will be revealed later. Both titles can already be added to PlayStation Store wishlists.
