GTA 6 Is Taking Over Miami Streets With 24 Real Advertisements for Vice City's Fake Brands

Miami residents are encountering advertisements for products they cannot actually buy. Digital information kiosks in Wynwood have started displaying commercials inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, including the fictional Pfister car brand, Kronos watches and Vice City radio stations. Photographs shared on October 19 and 20 have documented 24 different designs. With GTA 6 scheduled for November 19, Rockstar's Miami promotion is increasingly blurring the boundary between the real city and its satirical counterpart.

The advertisements look almost ordinary

A white convertible sits beneath a spectacular Florida sunset. A luxury watch promises an experience that sounds suspiciously suggestive. A jewelry brand presents an oversized diamond ring as though it belongs in a fashionable magazine.

Nothing seems especially unusual for Miami until the brand names come into focus. The convertible belongs to Pfister, the fictional German car manufacturer from Grand Theft Auto. The watch is a Kronos Celestial. The ring comes from Kowalski, another imaginary business.

These are not advertisements for a real automotive dealership or luxury retailer. They are promotional materials drawing on Grand Theft Auto VI, displayed on digital street kiosks in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.

Local creator Joel Franco photographed the first examples on October 19, with the images subsequently circulating through Rockstar-focused social media accounts.

Rather than using conventional posters dominated by the game's title and release date, the campaign recreates the fictional commercial culture of Vice City.

The distinction is important. Grand Theft Auto has spent decades parodying consumer advertising. Now those invented advertisements are appearing in the actual city that inspired its setting.

The collection has expanded to 24 designs

Additional photographs by Pierce Tetlow and other material shared on October 20 expanded the original discoveries into a collection of 24 distinct advertisements.

The designs include familiar fictional businesses such as Sprunk, Burger Shot and Coil, alongside advertisements for sportswear, fashion and nightlife.

The automotive selection is particularly extensive. Pfister promotes a Comet S2 Cabriolet, Coil advertises its electric Raiden, and Grotti presents an Itali RSX sports car.

Several radio stations also appear. Vice City FM and V-Rock join Cocoteo FM and Dirty South Classics in the collection.

The advertisements provide useful details about the fictional world, but their existence does not establish complete in-game radio programming or confirm how prominently every featured business will appear during gameplay.

Two additional discoveries concern professional sports. The Vice City Manatees use a football logo featuring Florida's famous aquatic mammal, while the Vice City Narcos represent a fictional basketball team.

Both reference recognizable parts of Miami's sporting culture. Nevertheless, promotional team logos are not evidence that playable football or basketball mechanics will appear in GTA 6.

Vice City's television channels are advertising too

The fictional media industry is also represented. Weazel News appears with a conventional news advertisement, while another design promotes an animated show called Macca & Friends.

The latter carries a November 19 date, matching the game's announced release. It is an amusing in-universe promotion rather than confirmation of a separate real-world television broadcast.

Megamundo, a fictional Spanish-language television network, advertises a melodramatic series titled El Destino Extiende sus Alas.

Together, these advertisements present a wider picture of Vice City than a conventional trailer focused on driving and crime.

They suggest how the city expresses itself through entertainment, shopping, advertising and sports. That cultural background has always been an important part of Grand Theft Auto's humor.

The real Miami is becoming an extension of the campaign

The digital kiosks are only the latest part of a larger promotional operation.

The Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, has received an enormous illuminated Welcome to Vice City sign on its roof.

Rockstar has also partnered with Wynwood Walls Museum, providing free admission to Miami-Dade residents through 2028 and helping present ten new murals connected to GTA VI.

Branded beach furniture has appeared on Miami Beach, while modified sports cars resembling vehicles from the game have been photographed and filmed driving around Miami.

GamesRadar reported sightings of several recognizable Grand Theft Auto-inspired models traveling together, sometimes accompanied by a vehicle carrying Vice City police styling.

These observations contribute to a broader effort to make elements of Rockstar's fictional setting recognizable in a real urban environment.

Not every circulating video provides the same level of confirmation about sponsorship or the precise arrangements behind a particular installation. Publicly documented activations should therefore be distinguished from fan interpretations.

A possible live-action shoot remains unconfirmed

On October 20, footage showing filming equipment and vehicles in Miami prompted speculation that Rockstar was preparing an additional live-action advertisement.

That possibility remains unconfirmed.

The observed equipment could be associated with campaign documentation, a promotional clip, media coverage or another production altogether. Rockstar has not announced a new live-action trailer in connection with those sightings.

The street advertising is much more concrete. Actual kiosks have displayed GTA-themed materials, and photographers have documented their designs in public.

Those observations are sufficient to establish the scale and character of the current promotion without assuming that every rumor surrounding it will result in a future announcement.

Vice City arrives before the game does

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Its fictional state of Leonida includes Vice City, Rockstar's exaggerated version of Miami, and the new story follows protagonists Jason and Lucia.

The campaign surrounding the release has now moved beyond traditional trailers, billboard artwork and character introductions.

By presenting imaginary products as real street advertisements, Rockstar has created a promotion that operates using the same satirical language as its game.

The strategy does not reveal whether every fictional business will be interactive, whether each television show will appear inside the finished game or how the locations will function.

It does accomplish something else: for a brief moment, walking through parts of Miami resembles exploring the consumer culture of Vice City before players have even started the game.
